Reading Lesson
The following is a list of key vocabulary that you will need to know to understand the lesson. This is a long list, but don't be intimidated, because many words are similar to the word in English (like medicina and medicine). Click on the word to hear the pronunciation.
*Apartados postales are the little mailboxes as seen in the picture below.
Buzones can be either of the kinds of mailboxes pictured below.
Section 1
Select the translation.
Here is a list of verbs used in the reading exercise.
*The verb manejar is more commonly used for the verb drive in Latin America, while conducir is used for drive in Spain.
Section 2
Select the verb.
Section 3
Write the present tense forms of the irregular verbs.
Example:
tener (to have)
1) distribuir (to distribute)
2) seguir (to follow)
3) proteger (to protect)
Read the paragraphs and select the person that is being described (the job).
Write sentences to describe a job (similar to the ones that you read in the lesson). We will try to guess what job you are describing.
