Mascotas
Perros
El perro es la mascota más popular. Los perros son amigables y juguetones. Los perros también pueden proteger tu hogar y familia. Si vives en un apartamento, un perro pequeño es mejor. Si tienes una casa con patio, puedes tener un perro grande. Los cachorros tienen mucha energía y necesitan entrenamiento. Los perros viejos son más tranquilos y maduros.
Gatos
Los gatos también son mascotas muy populares. Los gatos son más independientes. No es necesario pasear a los gatos como a los perros. Son excelentes mascotas para apartamentos porque son más pequeños.
Peces
Los peces son excelentes mascotas para un apartamento. Hay muchos tipos de peces. Hay peces que viven en agua dulce y otros que viven en agua salada. Debes preguntar en la tienda de mascotas sobre como cuidar el tipo de pez que vas a comprar. Tienes que limpiar el acuario cada dos semanas para la mayoría de los tipos de peces.
Pájaros
Hay muchos tipos de pájaros que venden como mascotas. Hay pájaros pequeños como los pericos o pájaros más grandes como los loros. Algunos pájaros pueden ser ruidosos. En la tienda de mascotas dan más información sobre la especie que quieres. Algunos pájaros pueden vivir mucho tiempo. ¡Los loros pueden vivir hasta 60 años!
Reptiles
Algunas personas tienen reptiles como mascotas. En las tiendas de mascotas venden lagartijas, serpientes y tortugas. Los reptiles pueden vivir muchos años. ¡Las serpientes y las tortugas pueden vivir 30 años, y las lagartijas pueden vivir hasta 50 años! En la tienda de mascotas pueden informar el costo de mantener a las mascotas porque algunos reptiles son muy costosos de cuidar. Además, algunas serpientes pueden crecer mucho y van a necesitar más espacio eventualmente.
Roedores
Hay muchos roedores que venden como mascotas. Las cobayas, los hámsteres, las ratas y los ratones son roedores que pueden ser mascotas. Los roedores generalmente solo viven de 2 a 5 años. Viven en jaulas y son excelentes mascotas para la gente que vive en un apartamento pequeño.
